Our top-tips for getting the best deal...

For every year you don’t make a claim on your motor insurance, your insurer gives you a year’s NCB.

It’s really important that you tell us about any NCB as it could mean a discount on your policy. This will vary from insurer to insurer.

You can protect your NCB with us, so even if you have an accident, your NCB remains intact.

Tip: Increasing your voluntary excess can reduce the cost of your policy.

  • You can adjust your voluntary excess after you get your initial quotes.

The more miles you drive, the more of a risk you are likely to be seen as.

  • You can get an accurate number by referring to your service records.

Note: Most of us put too many miles down

Adding additional drivers who carry a lower risk can help to reduce your motor insurance.

Never add someone as main driver if they’re not. This is known as 'fronting' and could lead to a criminal conviction.
