Roles and Responsibilities

The Customer Service Advisor is responsible for providing an outstanding level of service to all customers, ensuring their queries are dealt with in an efficient and accurate manner, with fair customer outcomes at the heart of everything a Customer Service Advisor does.

  • External transferring of customer funds
  • Ordering of cards & PIN reminders
  • Amendments to contact details
  • General balance and transaction enquiries
  • The timely reporting of any complaints and/or suspicious activity in line with company policy and procedures
  • Ensuring that all work carried out is to the highest standard, in line with the policies and procedures set out by thinkmoney
  • The protection of customer privacy and commercial confidentiality
  • To use the company values as your compass when dealing with customers and colleagues

Essential Criteria

  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Confident, outgoing individual, with the ability to build customer relationships
  • Excellent keyboard skills
  • Must be able to work under pressure, whilst maintaining a professional and positive attitude both within the office environment and with customers
  • Maintaining high levels of accuracy at all times

Natalie joined the business in 2008, after studying English Literature at the University of Salford. Her journey at thinkmoney started as a Customer Service Advisor and she quickly progressed to become one of our Customer Service Mentors. Through further hard work, Natalie was promoted to her current position of Customer Service Team Leader.

After working in various roles that involved insurance, customer service, purchasing and sales, Luke came to thinkmoney with a real desire to build a successful career. In the two years Luke has worked for thinkmoney, he has held customer service and complaint handling roles which have given him the skills required to take him further in his career. Luke is now an integral part of our Fraud and Chargeback specialist team.

Holly has progressed to become one of our Customer Service Mentors, responsible for providing support and training to her team of Customer Service Advisors. In a short space of time, Holly has held various positions in the customer service team and is now passing her skills and knowledge onto her team of advisors.

Ashley joined thinkmoney after being a team leader at Topshop in the Trafford Centre. He’s worked hard to develop his skills and has progressed through the business, moving from our customer service team to a dedicated complaint resolution role. He’s now continuing to provide excellent customer service to our customers through Facebook, Twitter and text message.
