Christmas is a magical time for children, but for their parents it can be a rather different story. If your little boy is just starting to take his first steps, this baby walker from Vtech could be the ideal gift this Christmas. Prices vary for the walker, but Smyths are selling it at an affordable price of £17.99.

For little ones, interactive play sets are great at helping them learn new words and sounds. This Vtech Toot-Toot Animals Safari Playset will make a great gift for any little boy over the age of 12 months. The playset can currently be found for £28.99 at Toys R Us and £29.99 atSmyths.

For a child over the age of 3, this Little Tikes large car carrier is sure to go down a treat. It can be found for half price at Toys R Us and Argos, where it is reduced to £24.99.


The classic game of Bop It! has been reinvented to make it more modern, with the game now featuring music from current artists like Nicki Minaj. Asda currently offer the best price for Bop It! Beats, selling it for £14.

The BOOMco Rapid Madness Blaster has also been tipped for big things this Christmas, and it’s sure to delight any adventurous boy. The blaster gun, which was originally priced at £65, can now be found at Asda and Amazon for £25.


Lego caters to all ages and the Lego City Arctic Base Camp set could make a great challenge for any older child. The set is priced at £48.00 at Asda and as it is slightly more expensive it could be given as one large gift rather than giving your little man several smaller presents.

In keeping with the Lego theme, new sets based on The Lego Movie have been released, and the Lego Movie Benny’s Spaceship set has been getting really good reviews. The best price for the set can be found at Tesco for £59.99.

Nerf guns have grown in popularity over the last couple of years and the new Nerf N-Strike Elite Mega Thunderbow is set to do the same this Christmas. The bow can be found at both Argos and Toys R Us at £22.49.
