Shops have gone a rather garish shade of orange and black as Halloween is upon us once again!

Whether you want a scary costume or need supplies for trick or treaters, or you're just decorating the house to get into the spirit of things - we've got it covered.

We've put together a list of Halloween goodies that won't leave you frightened to check your bank balance.

If you're off to a party this Halloween, it's essential that you dress to impress! B&M Bargains have lots of Halloween stuff for both kids and adults - including some on-sale costumes.

How about this men's skeleton onesie, down from £12.99 to £7.99? Or for the ladies there's this bloody nurse outfit for £9.99, also down from £12.99.

If that doesn’t suit, Matalan !have got a great range of costumes for all ages - this little sleep suit and bib deserved a special mention at only a fiver - ahh!

While looking at outfits and clothing, we couldn’t help but feature this stupidly cute spider costume. Available from Pink and Blue gifts at Amazon, it's £13.99 - and it's the cutest we've come across.

Not only will you need to dress for the occasion this Halloween - you'll need to decorate your face too. The Range have got this in check with these Snazaroo face paint sets, sold for boys and girls and down from £11.49 to £9.99.

Treat or treat

If you want to get some sweets and chocolates in for the little rascals who come knocking at your door this Halloween, there are tons of offers out there.

You can bag traditional Halloween fodder of toffee- or chocolate-coated apples,two for £1 at Asda.

While you're there, you can also get big bags of funsize bars of Maltesers, Milky Way Magic Stars!, Bounty, Mars or Twix - all for a quid too!

Wilko offer a large selection of sweets, including this massive bag of buy one get one free Little Monsters' mix for £2.49. Lots of Lollies, bumper bags and chew crew are all £1 each too, down from £1.70.

Decorate the den

If you're throwing a party for Halloween and need decorations but are trying to do it on the cheap (what you don’t spend on decoration can go on the beverages, after all!),Poundland might be a good place to start.

They have everything from a pumpkin-carving kit, spider lights and pumpkin straws to drink the aforementioned potions with - and all for (you guessed it) a quid each!

For some authentic decoration or if you just want some fun with the kids, you can get a large pumpkin for £2 at Tesco, or you can get them on offer, two for £3.

Most of the stuff at Marks and Spencer is three for two, including a pumpkin piñata and skeleton table cover - we don’t want any scary spillages!
