We know that it probably doesn’t feel like spring is coming any time soon but trust us, it’s nearly here. And to make sure you’re ready for the shift in fashion as well as weather (we can hope, can’t we?), we’re taking you through our forecast of the most affordable trends for the season.*
Nautical style is back this spring and here are some of our most affordable picks from the high street:
Look 1: Incorporate stripes into your wardrobe in a laid-back fashion with this belted dress from Primark. At just £10, it’s quite the bargain and would look effortlessly cool when paired with a denim jacket and chunky boots.
Look 2: If your day-to-day look consists mainly of jeans and a t-shirt, then you could add this jersey top into the mix. With bold nautical stripes and a high neck finish, this top is worth every penny of its £9.99 price tag.
Look 3: Looking for something to help you transition from a day at the office to an evening with friends? This jumper and shirt combo from Primark could do the trick.
You won’t be able to escape suede this spring, so get ahead of the fashion pack and pick up one of these items:
Look 1: Go classic with this A-line mini from F&F at Tesco. The A-line cut is sure to flatter most figures and the tan shade is the perfect colour to transition you into the spring months. At just £12, this skirt is certainly budget-friendly.
Look 2: What’s not to love about a khaki suedette dress? No, we couldn’t think of anything either. The olive green colour is perfect for the spring months and this dress would look chic paired with tights and heels – and it’s only £13.
It would seem that this spring is all about stylish comfort, with the shirt dress being one its biggest trends:
Look 1: It’s all about the detail when it comes to stripes and this pin stripe shirt dress from Primark certainly gives you that! The dress comes with an around the waist tie and opposing stripe design on the centre, making for a much more expensive look than its £13 price tag!
Look 2: Update your office wardrobe with this polka dot shirt dress. The loose fitting design is ideal for an office environment while the pussy bow design adds a touch of style – it won’t break the bank either at just £13.
Look 3: Embrace your inner wild child with this checked shirt dress from H&M. You could wear it as is or leave unbuttoned over a pair of jeans and tee – it’s a bargain at £14.99.
A timeless classic, denim never really goes out of fashion and this spring is certainly no different – so why not try one of these looks?
Look 1: If there’s one item that you’ll see time and time again this season, it’s the denim dress – like this one from George at Asda. Although a simple design, the dark wash and tie waist design makes for a polished look. The dress comes in at an affordable price at £18!
Look 2: Embrace two trends in one with this denim pencil skirt from New Look. This skirt is sure to hug your curves and would look effortlessly stylish when paired with an off-the-shoulder top. At £17.99, you’d be able to wear this skirt from season to season.
