Christmas dinner

Who says Christmas has to cost an arm and a leg? Aldi’s proving you can feed eight people for just £11.85. That’s less than £1.50 a head!

What’s included in the deal?

Here’s what’s on the table:

  • British Small Whole Fresh Turkey – £9 (3.05kg)
  • Quixo Gravy Granules – £1.09 (300g)
  • Yorkshire Puddings – 46p (15 pack)
  • Sage & Onion Stuffing Mix – 90p (two packs at 45p each)
  • White Potatoes – 8p (2kg)
  • Brussels Sprouts – 8p (500g)
  • Carrots – 8p (1kg)
  • Parsnips – 16p (two packs at 8p each)

Total: £11.85. Enough to keep eight people happy on Christmas day.

Feeling flush? Aldi’s got posh options too – free-range turkeys from £13.49/kg or a fancy stuffed crown from £20.99/kg. Go on, treat yourself.

When can you get it?

You’ve only got a few days before Christmas to bag the bargains and get your fridge looking festive. Here’s when to pounce:

  • Veg for 8p – 18–24 December (Aldi’s Super Six deal)
  • Turkeys and the rest – 19–24 December

So, mark your calendar or stick a Post-it on the fridge – whatever works.

With the cost of living still biting, this is a proper win. You get a full Christmas dinner without emptying your wallet. And if you’ve got a bit of spare cash, why not push the boat out? Grab a posh turkey, chuck in a pudding, or treat yourself to a cheese board.
