Best restaurant deals for September including £1 mains and a £1 Bella Italia brownie

Eating out can quickly add up, but there are plenty of restaurant deals available across the UK this September that could help you cut the cost of a meal.

From £1 mains at PizzaExpress, Bella Italia and Las Iguanas to a £1 brownie at Bella Italia and a £15 Sunday roast at Toby Carvery, there are some particularly good offers available this month.

We've rounded up some of the best restaurant deals to look out for in September 2026, including offers for couples, families, students and anyone celebrating a birthday.

Wetherspoon – 7.5% off food and drinks on 17 September

Wetherspoon customers can get 7.5% off food and drinks on Thursday 17 September 2026 as part of the chain's one-day Tax Equality Day promotion.

The discount applies across Wetherspoon pubs for one day only, meaning customers could save £7.50 on a £100 spend or 75p on every £10 spent.

Wetherspoon says the promotion is designed to highlight what it says would be the benefit of a permanent VAT reduction for pubs and restaurants.

For example, someone spending £10 on food and drinks would pay £9.25 on the day.

The discount applies to food and drinks, although in Scotland the reduction does not apply to alcohol because of licensing regulations. Local licensing restrictions and availability may also apply.

Pizza Express – get a second main for £1

Pizza Express has launched a £1 Double Dinner Deal running from 1 September to 25 October 2026.

Customers can buy a pizza or main and get another qualifying main for £1.

The deal is available when dining in, as well as for delivery or collection through Pizza Express Delivers.

Qualifying dishes include Classic, Leggera and Romana pizzas, salads and Al Forno dishes, although there are exclusions.

The offer is available Monday to Sunday.

Claim the deal through the Pizza Express Club app or download a code from the Pizza Express website.

Zizzi – second main for £1

Zizzi is also offering diners the chance to get a second main for just £1 this September.

The deal is available Monday to Friday all day and from 5pm on Sundays until 24 September 2026, giving customers plenty of opportunities to use it.

You can choose from a range of qualifying mains, including pizza, pasta, salads and signature dishes, with the cheaper qualifying main reduced to £1.

You'll need to claim the offer through the Zizzi app before visiting. The promotion is subject to exclusions and availability, so check the terms before booking.

For two people ordering two qualifying mains, the deal means the cheaper dish will cost just £1 rather than its usual menu price.

Bella Italia – second main for £1

Bella Italia is offering customers the chance to buy one main and get another for just £1.

The offer runs from 7 September to 2 October 2026, Sunday to Friday, meaning it can be used throughout most of September.

You'll need to sign up for an exclusive voucher code before visiting.

Selected locations are excluded.

Bella Italia is also running a great dessert deal on Sunday 13 September where customers can get a Chocolate Brownie for £1 when they order a main meal.

You'll also need to sign up for an separate voucher to claim the offer.

Las Iguanas – free brunch if it's your birthday

Las Iguanas is offering a free bottomless brunch to customers whose birthday falls in September.

The promotion runs from 1 to 30 September 2026. The birthday guest gets the brunch free, while the rest of the group must purchase bottomless brunch at the full listed price.

You need to pre-book, sign up for a code and show ID proving your September date of birth.

The offer isn't available at Center Parcs and some event-day exclusions apply.

ASK Italian – two meals and drinks for £24

ASK Italian has a Two for £24 deal running throughout September.

Two people can get two pizzas or pastas plus two drinks for £24, working out at £12 each.

The offer is available Sunday to Tuesday from 6 September to 29 September 2026 and is available to ASK Perks app members. It's dine-in only.

ASK's September offers also include free garlic bread with the purchase of another main course, available every day through the ASK Perks app.

There is also a two-for-one mains offer every Wednesday and Thursday in September, although availability and terms should be checked through the ASK Perks app before visiting.

Toby Carvery – £15 Sunday roast

If you're looking for a traditional Sunday lunch, Toby Carvery is offering its Sunday carvery for £15.

The deal is available every Sunday until 20 September 2026 and can be used for dine-in, Click & Collect and delivery orders.

Côte Brasserie – £10 mains for new app users

Côte Brasserie is offering new app users the chance to get an Icon main for just £10 this September.

The offer is available when you download the free Côte app and can be used on selected Côte Icon dishes, including Steak Frites, Moules Marinière, Côte Burger, Pan-fried Salmon and Grilled Sea Bream.

Some of the eligible dishes normally cost considerably more, meaning customers can save up to £13.95 with the £10 offer.

The offer is for new Côte app users and can only be used once. It can't be combined with another promotion and is subject to availability.

Frankie & Benny's £1 burger

There's another deal worth putting in your diary.

On 18 September 2026, Frankie & Benny's customers can get a Classic Cheeseburger or Beef Burger for £1 when they buy a drink.

The offer is available via a coded voucher, but only 5,000 codes are available, so it is likely to be popular. It's also subject to participating restaurant and event-day exclusions.

Prezzo – 99p pasta and pizza mains

Prezzo is offering selected pasta and pizza mains for just 99p on Monday 14 September 2026.

The one-day Mega Monday promotion is available at participating Prezzo Italian restaurants, but you'll need to pre-book a table and purchase a qualifying drink to claim the deal.

You'll also need to redeem the offer through the Club Prezzo app, or sign up to the Prezzo database to receive a voucher by email. Each person can claim one 99p main.

There is an extra incentive for anyone choosing the Lucky Lasagne from the special Mega Monday menu.

You'll receive a scratch card with your bill, with prizes including £10 off your next bill, a free starter or dessert, a free drink or £100 off.

The prizes can be used from 15 September to 30 November 2026, subject to the terms.
