GCSE Results Day is almost here, with students across the UK finding out their results on Thursday 20 August 2026.

Whether you're celebrating your grades, relieved that the exams are finally over or simply looking for an excuse to treat yourself, there are plenty of freebies, discounts and restaurant deals available.

Nando's, Zizzi, Frankie & Benny's and Bella Italia are among the chains offering special Results Day promotions, giving students the chance to enjoy a meal or treat for less.

We've rounded up the best GCSE Results Day 2026 freebies and deals to help you celebrate without putting too much pressure on your wallet.

Nando's Results Day Dash: Free quarter chicken or starter

Nando's is bringing back its Results Day Dash, meaning GCSE students can grab a free quarter chicken or starter when they pick up their results.

You'll need to show your GCSE results and valid student ID, spend at least £7 and order at the till. The offer is available for eat-in or walk-in collection.

You can choose a ¼ Chicken or one of Nando's starters, such as Halloumi Sticks & Dip, Houmous with PERi-PERi Drizzle or Spicy Mixed Olives.

The GCSE offer is available on Thursday 20 August 2026 at participating Nando's restaurants.

Bird & Blend – Free matcha for GCSE students

Bird & Blend Tea Co. is giving GCSE students a chance to cool down after Results Day with a free Iced Superstar Matcha worth £5.25.

The giveaway runs from 11am to 5pm on Thursday 20 August. To claim your drink, show your GCSE results and valid student ID at any Bird & Blend store.

There's one free drink per person, while stocks last.

The offer is available nationwide, including Bird & Blend shops in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Leeds, Liverpool, Nottingham, Oxford and York.

Zizzi – Free pizza on GCSE Results Day

Pizza could be on the menu for GCSE students thanks to Zizzi, which is giving away more than 3,700 free Classic Pizzas across England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

On Thursday 20 August, the first 30 students through the doors at participating restaurants can claim a free Classic Pizza by showing their 2026 GCSE results and buying a soft drink.

Options include favourites such as Classic Margherita and Classic Pepperoni Campagna, with vegan and non-gluten alternatives also available.

And if you don't get there in time for one of the free pizzas, there's still a saving to be made. Students can get 50% off a Classic Pizza until 5pm when they purchase a soft drink.

Bella Italia – Free starter and dessert for GCSE Results Day

Bella Italia is giving GCSE students a little extra to celebrate, with a free starter and dessert when an adult main meal is purchased.

The offer is also available to friends and family dining with the student, provided they buy a main course, so the whole table can join in the celebration.

There are plenty of choices, including King Prawns in Garlic and Chilli Butter to start and a Chocolate Brownie with vanilla gelato for dessert.

The promotion is available for dine-in at participating Bella Italia restaurants on 20 August, with terms and exclusions applying.

Frankie & Benny's – Free starter and dessert

GCSE students can also make their Results Day meal go further at Frankie & Benny's.

Buy an adult main meal and show your GCSE results to claim a free starter and dessert.

The offer can also be enjoyed by other people at the table when they purchase a main course, making it suitable for a family celebration.

Starter options include the Giant Mozzarella Stick, while dessert choices include the Rocky Road Sundae and Biscoff Doughnut Sundae.

The deal is available at participating restaurants, although airport locations are excluded.

Bill's – Free dessert with a main meal

There's something sweet waiting for GCSE students at Bill's, where you can get a free dessert when you buy a main meal and show your exam results.

The offer is available on Thursday 20 August 2026, making it a potential option for a Results Day meal with family or friends.

Dessert choices include Bill's popular Eton Mess, alongside other sweet treats on the menu.

You'll need to purchase a main course to qualify for the free dessert.

Banana Tree – Free starter and dessert

Banana Tree is another restaurant offering GCSE students a freebie on Results Day.

Students can claim a free starter and dessert when they purchase an adult main meal and show their GCSE results.

The offer can also be used by friends and family dining with the student when they buy a main course.

Dishes include starters such as Mekong Prawns and Thai Calamari, while Mango Rice Pudding is among the dessert options.

The deal is for dine-in at participating restaurants and cannot be combined with other promotions.

Giggling Squid – Free Sticky Chicken for GCSE students

GCSE students can extend their Results Day celebrations into the weekend at Giggling Squid, where a free portion of Sticky Chicken is available when you buy a main meal.

The GCSE promotion runs from Thursday 20 August to Sunday 23 August 2026, giving students more time to claim the offer.

You'll need to dine in, buy a main dish and show proof of your 2026 GCSE results. This can be a printed results slip, a results email from your school or college, or your results displayed on your phone or results app.

The offer can be claimed once per student at participating Giggling Squid restaurants and is available while stocks last.

Rosa's Thai – Free Pad Thai on GCSE Results Day

Rosa's Thai is giving GCSE students another reason to celebrate with more than 4,000 free Pad Thai dishes available across its restaurants in England and Wales.

The offer is available on GCSE Results Day, Thursday 20 August 2026.

There's an important catch: you need to sign up on the Rosa's Thai website before Results Day to receive a unique code.

Once you have your code, take it to a participating restaurant along with a copy of your GCSE results and purchase one of Rosa's Thai's bubble teas to claim your free Pad Thai.

The offer is available while stocks last.

Las Iguanas – Free starter and dessert

Fancy something with a little more spice? Las Iguanas is offering GCSE students a free starter and dessert when they buy an adult main meal.

The deal isn't limited to the student either. Guests dining with them can also take advantage when they order a main course, with tables of up to six people eligible.

Menu options include Hot Honey Halloumi and Smoky Chipotle Chicken Tacos, followed by desserts such as Churros with chocolate sauce or dulce de leche.

The promotion is available at participating restaurants on 20 August, excluding Centre Parcs locations.
