Glastonbury 2027 tickets go on sale today - how to get a free McDonald's while you queue

The ritual of getting Glasto tickets is about to kick off again.
Getting tickets to Worthy Farm is far from easy and keen festival goers should be prepped and ready to go when coach tickets go on sale at 6pm today 1 October and again on Sunday 4 October from 9am.
Tickets for Glastonbury 2027 cost a hefty £408, including the booking fee, but demand is still expected to far exceed supply.
To help with the ordeal, McDonald's is serving up free grub to frantic Glastonbury hopefuls.
Delivery app Deliveroo is also offering 1,000 free vouchers for £7 on Sunday to coincide with the ticket sale.

When do Glastonbury 2027 tickets go on sale?
Ticket sales will take place in two stages.
Coach travel ticket packages go on sale at 6pm on Thursday 1 October
General admission tickets go on sale at 9am on Sunday 4 October
Anyone hoping to attend must already be registered - registration closed on 25 September.
Ticket buyers can purchase up to six tickets in a single transaction and pay a £100 deposit per person when booking.
During both the stages, you can keep motivated with a free McDonald's.
The chain is offer a free Cheeseburger with a £1 spend via the McDonald’s app between Thursday, 1 October from 6–8pm, and a free Sausage & Egg or Bacon & Egg McMuffin with a £1 spend on Sunday, 4 October from 9–11am.
How to improve your chances of getting Glastonbury tickets
There's no guaranteed way to secure a ticket, but working in groups of up to six people with all of you trying to secure the tickets for each other can improve your chances.
Speed is of the essence so having registration numbers and postcodes at ready is crucial.
Using multiple devices where possible can also help up your chances, that's laptops, phones and iPads all lined up and ready to go and logged in before the sale starts.
Try for both standard and coach ticket sales to double your chance of success.
Free Deliveroo vouchers
You can also bag a Deliveroo voucher for £7 on Sunday morning from 9am to spend on breakfast and coffee items.
The delivery app is offering the first 1,000 people to add the code QUEUEROO to their basket or the credit and voucher section of the app can get redeem for freebies at Costa, Caffe Nero, McDonald's, Black Sheep Coffee and Pret A Manger.
You'll need to be quick because it's a first-come first-served offer.
