One of the best parts of the the school holidays is that parents can head out for a dinner and save cash thanks to the many kids eat free and kids eat for £1 offers available at restaurants, cafés and supermarkets across the UK.

From supermarket cafes to fancier restaurant chains, these deals could save you a stack of cash if you want to eat out with your family.

Tesco Café kids eat free

Tesco has this summer holidays extended its popular Kids Eat Free offer to the weekends - rather than just weekdays.

Children can choose from a free breakfast, hot meal classics such as chicken nuggets or the Pick 'n' Mix deal which includes a variety of sandwiches to choose from.

An adult just need to buys a full-price item from the menu and scans a Clubcard, this can be something as small as a piece of fruit for 60p.

Asda Café Kids eat for £1

Asda doesn't offer a free meal, but its £1 children's menu is one of the best value offers available.

This is great for grabbing an easy lunch while shopping. Baby food pouches are also available at participating cafés.

Morrisons Café kids eat free

Children can enjoy a free meal when an adult purchases a main meal costing at least £5 from the adult menu at Morrisons cafes.

You'll get one free kids meal with each qualifying spend from the adult which is good if your ratio is one adult to one child.

The children's menu includes all the dishes you'd expect for kids including chicken nuggets and chips, fish fingers, sausages, pasta, pizza and vegetarian options.

The café also runs a free Kelloggs breakfast over the summer holidays where you can get a free bowl of rice krispies or corn flakes - no purchase needed. Just say, 'Kelloggs breakfast' at the counter to get the deal.

Pizza Express kids eat free

PizzaExpress is offering families a free Piccolo meal when an adult buys a qualifying full-price main course.

Under the current Holiday Heroes offer, one child aged 12 or under can enjoy a free three-course Piccolo meal with every qualifying adult main purchased, subject to a minimum spend of £15. The promotion is available when dining in at participating PizzaExpress restaurants.

The free Piccolo meal includes:

ASK Italian kids eat free

ASK Italian is bringing back its popular Kids Eat Free offer for the summer holidays, giving families up to two free children's meals when they buy one adult main course.

The offer is available every day from 17 July to 6 September 2026 and must be redeemed through the free ASK Perks rewards app. It's valid when dining in at participating ASK Italian restaurants.

Children can choose a meal from the ASK Italian kids' menu, with options including:

Zizzi kids eat free

Zizzi is offering families a free three-course Bambini meal for children during the summer holidays when an adult buys a main course.

The free three-course Bambini meal includes:
