PizzaExpress are running their big February offer where you can get any two starters, two mains and a bottle of wine for £50. This is available when you dine in or order via PizzaExpress Delivers from 3rd February to 2nd March. Your £50 Valentine’s date can work out even cheaper if you’re one of our thinkmoney SmartPlus account holders. You get access to PlusSave where you can save 10% off your Pizza Express spend, giving you a fiver off your bill. All in all, you’d pay £45 for your Valentine’s date which seems like a good deal to us.

You can also share a bottle of prosecco for £25.

If you want to save even more, you can get 10% off the Valentine’s set menu by going early;  on Thursday 12th or Friday 13th, as long as you claim a code and book by midnight on the 11th.

That means, even if you opt for celebrating on Valentine’s Day itself, you’ll spend around £60 on the menu, or £85 with the prosecco offer, but effectively pay £77, which works out to roughly what you’d pay if you went for the early bird 10% discount offer; no compromises needed.

Miller & Carter are running two Valentine’s Day deals at the minute. You can choose from their £41.50 per head set menu which includes a starter, steak and dessert, or opt for the sharing option which comes with” 28oz of the finest cuts”, sides, and bottomless steak sauce for £95 between the two of you (£135 with a luxury bottle of wine).

This deal is available all day from Saturday 7th to Sunday 15th of February alongside the regular menu, so you don’t have to go on Valentine’s Day itself to benefit.

If you choose to go sometime between Sunday to Thursday, for example, you can pair the £41.50 per head deal with their 2 for £16 signature cocktails deal as long as you go before 7pm. Your plush Valentine’s Day date then works out to just under £100, and you can save extra if you have access to PlusSave.

The menu includes indulgent starters like scallops or duck, mains such as ribeye steak and refined desserts including Champagne sabayon or a shareable chocolate trio among others. If you add a couple of cocktails or pints, expect to spend around £125 between the two of you.

As far as Valentine’s Day spends go, Browns is on the more expensive side. But thinkmoney SmartPlus account holders get 12% off their bill with discounted gift cards from PlusSave. This means you’d save around £15 on a £125 bill, i.e. you’d get one of your cocktails or a couple of your pints for free.
