Last‑minute Mother’s Day flowers in 2026: where to get them (and what you’ll pay)

From supermarket bunches you can grab en route to pricier same‑day deliveries, there are ways to get flowers to your mum without completely blowing the budget (or admitting you forgot). Here’s what you can still pull off in these last few days before Mother’s Day, how fast you can get your flowers, and what each option will set you back.
Your very last-minute option for Mother’s Day – supermarket flowers
Supermarket flowers could save the day if you’re on your way to pick your mum up for Mother’s Day lunch when it occurs to you she’d probably appreciate something resembling a gift.
Supermarkets actually offer some pretty decent options as our pop culture editor Molly Dixon found when she put together our guide on Mother’s Day flowers in 2026.
You can get anything from a bunch of daffodils for a quid to larger “gift” style bouquets that go up to £25. The beauty of this option? It’s dead easy to do and no delivery fees to worry about. Just make a pit stop on your way to your mum’s for a fresh bunch of flowers and away you go.
Granted, if you’ve really left it last minute, you might find there won’t be very many flowers to choose from and you might be stuck with the leftovers that don’t look nearly as impressive, so there’s that.
If you do have a little more time on your hands, you might want to explore some of the options below instead.
Your same-day delivery options for Mother’s Day flowers
A lot of online florists in the UK offer same-day delivery options on flowers, but the cut-off for these same day delivery options is often Saturday. We looked at a range of local and online florists and many don’t work Sunday (or don’t deliver on Sundays).
So, in practice, if you’re in a panic on Sunday morning, you’ll probably struggle to find florists that can offer same day delivery. But, if you want same day delivery on Saturday (ready for when you visit your mum first thing Sunday morning), then there are options available.
How much do same day flowers cost for Mother’s Day?
Different florists will set different prices, but for example, eflorist offers same day delivery options Monday through Saturday so long as you place your order before 3pm. With eflorist, same day delivery costs £7.99, whereas next day delivery would set you back £5.99. At Interflora, another big online florist, same day delivery starts from £10 as long as you order Monday through Saturday before 3pm. If you want your order delivered within three hours of placing it, that’ll set you back £15.
The flowers themselves might be on the pricier end too, at eflorist, next day options for Mother’s Day flowers start from around £27, whereas same day flower arrangements start from £39.99. So going for a same day option could set you back in the region of £48, versus around £31 for next day delivery – last minute convenience costs quite a bit!
So, to sum up:
Major online florists like eflorist and Interflora offer same day delivery, but your local florist might be able to do this too if you give them a ring to check.
Same day delivery will cost you in the region of £7.50 to £15 and there are strict cut offs (and no same day options on Sundays typically)
Same day flower arrangements usually cost more and often simply because there are less options available to choose from
If you live somewhere really remote, same day flowers might not be an option at all (or the product range might be very limited)
Your next-day delivery options for Mother’s Day flowers
Next day delivery options are much easier to arrange in general. They’ll cost a little extra. However, when we looked at popular online florists there weren’t strict cut offs ahead of Mother’s Day, which means you might be able to order pretty last minute.
When we looked, there were options where you could even arrange Sunday delivery on Mother’s Day in some cases, but these were more expensive. Here are a few examples:
Eflorist offers next day delivery or named day delivery from £6.99, but £8.99 on Mother’s Day
Bloom & Wild offers free standard delivery on weekdays, but it’s an extra £5 if you want your flowers delivered on Mother’s Day, and if you want guaranteed next day delivery, you’re advised to opt for Premium delivery which costs £7.
Interflora offers next day delivery from £7.50, but it’s £11 if you want your flowers delivered on Mother’s Day.
In terms of the costs of the actual flowers, here’s what you can expect to pay:
From £19.99 at eflorist for Mother’s Day flowers available for next day delivery
From £30 at Bloom & Wild for Mother’s Day arrangements available for next day delivery
From £32 at Interflora for Mother’s Day flowers available for next day delivery
There’s plenty of options at the time of writing, but bear in mind that stocks can fluctuate in the lead up to Mother’s Day so you might find prices are higher and products on offer more limited the later you leave it.
If you’re going down this route though, and you want to check out Bloom & Wild, bear in mind that thinkmoney SmartPlus customers get 13% off with discounted PlusSave gift cards, so you could save on your flowers and make up a little for that extra delivery fee.
