Lidl Plus Points can now be swapped for rewards including money-off coupons and selected products, giving shoppers the opportunity to save on food bills. Here is what you can get.

Lidl shoppers can now earn points every time they shop through the Lidl Plus app, with those points then exchanged for rewards in the app.
The new scheme launched earlier this year in May, replacing Lidl's previous Coupon Plus system.
Under the new scheme, shoppers earn points on their purchases and can choose which available rewards to redeem them against.
But what can you actually get for your points – and how much do you need to spend before you can claim a reward?
We take a look...
How do Lidl Plus Points work?
Lidl Plus Points are the supermarket's loyalty points, which are collected through the Lidl Plus app.
You earn one Lidl Point for every £1 spent, with spending rounded up to the nearest pound.
So for example, if you spend £5.10 you'll get six points - you'd also get six points if you spent £5.99.
If you spend £10, you get 10 points.
Points are normally credited within two days of a shop. You can check your balance in the Lidl Plus app at any time.
What can you get with Lidl Plus Points?
There isn't a single fixed Lidl rewards catalogue with one permanent points price for every product.
Instead, the rewards and the number of points required can change, so shoppers need to check the Rewards Marketplace in the app to see what they can currently claim.
However, you can expect to be able to use anywhere between 30 and 90 points in exchange for a bakery item, such as an iced doughnut, croissant, brownie or demi baguette.
All manner of single grocery items start from around 40 points and up to 100 points, such as Baked Beans, packs of chocolate digestives, and stir-in pasta sauces.
Larger packs of items usually need at least 100 and up to 200 points, such as a four-pack of yogurts or a pack of fusilli pasta, as well as packs of grapes and pork pies.
Packs of meat such as pork mince or smoked salmon, start from around 215 points and up to 300 points.
At the highest level, we found a pack of two beef sirloin steaks available for 1,280 points but there are not many items available over 500 points.
Using points for money off your Lidl shop
You can also choose to swap points for money off your shop.
The number of points needed is fairly straightforward with 300 points for a £3 off, 500 points for £5 off and 1,000 points for £10 off.
Check any minimum-spend requirements before you redeem the reward.
This is one of the most useful options for regular Lidl shoppers because it turns points directly into a saving on groceries that you are already buying.
Lidl Plus partner offers
Partner offers aren't rewards that you buy with Lidl Points, instead they are competitions and offers for app users.
It's worth checking to see if any offers could save you cash.
You could expect to see 50% off AA breakdown cover or 40% off cinema tickets, for example.
Lidl Plus Points: What you need to remember
Lidl Plus Points last up to two years, but once you convert them into a coupon, you usually only have 30 days to use it.
So before you swap points for a reward, you should double check you can use it or your points will go to waste.
Also don't wait too long before converting points, as you could find they start to drop off if it's been two years since you earned them.
