Lidl Plus rewards in April 2026 - which freebies give you the best value?

Lidl Plus rewards are always great, who doesn’t want to get a cheeky little freebie. But not all of them are created equal. With them varying every month, we put them to the test to work out which ones give you the most for your money, so you can Lidl like a Pro.
How Lidl Plus rewards work
The Lidl Plus app tracks your spending across a calendar month.
As you hit fixed spending milestones, reward vouchers appear in the app.
You can then activate them and redeem them on a future shop.
The system is cumulative. Spend £250 in a single month and you unlock every reward tier leading up to it.
Each reward is valid for 7 days from the date it is issued. If you don’t use it in time, it expires.
Your total spend resets at the end of each calendar month and you start the process again.
Lidl Plus reward tiers (April 2026)
Spend £10 – free bakery item
Spend £50 – free fruit or vegetable
Spend £100 – free Fin Carré 100g chocolate bar
Spend £150 – free Alesto nuts or dried fruit
Spend £250+ – 10% off your next shop
Here’s how to get the most value from each one.
Spend £10 – free bakery item
The first Lidl Plus milestone unlocks a free bakery item when you spend £10.
Lidl’s bakery is elite and this is one of the easiest rewards to make count.
How to get the most value
Bakery prices vary, so pick one of the higher-priced products in store.
Filled muffins – £1.29
Seasonal brownies (Like mini-egg or brookie) – £1.29
Standard croissants or rolls – £0.89
Skip the basics and grab a filled muffin or brownie and that’s £1.29 back on a £10 spend.
Spend £50 – free fruit or vegetable
At £50 spend, Lidl Plus unlocks a free fruit or vegetable voucher.
It might sound boring but it’s one of my favourite rewards.
How to get the most value
The value depends entirely on what you choose.
Large bag of onions (2kg) – £2.79
Large bag of potatoes (2.5kg) – £2.99
Single pepper or cucumber – £0.49–£0.79
If you want to make the most of it, go for the bigger packs. A bag of potatoes or onions for nearly £3 feels like a proper reward for a £50 shop.
Spend £100 – free Fin Carré chocolate bar
At £100 spend, you unlock a free Fin Carré 100g chocolate bar.
This is Lidl’s own chocolate range with lots of flavours.
How to get the most value
Choose the premium options for maximum return:
Milk chocolate with nuts – £1.39
Caramel or nougat – £1.39
Standard milk chocolate – £1.09
A chocolate bar with nuts or caramel is a nice treat and £1.39 back is always welcome.
Spend £150 – free Alesto nuts or dried fruit
Spending £150 unlocks a free Alesto nuts or dried fruit pack.
Perfect if you like a snack on the go.
How to get the most value
Pistachios 150g – £2.99
Almonds 150g – £2.99
Basic mixed nuts 150g – £1.79
Go for the premium options. Almonds or pistachios give you the biggest bang for your £150 spend.
Spend £250+ – 10% off your next shop
This is the biggest Lidl Plus reward.
Spend £250 or more in a month and you get 10% off your next shop. It is capped at £20.
How to get the maximum discount
Use the voucher on a bigger shop to hit the cap:
£50 shop - £5 discount
£100 shop - £10 discount
£200+ shop - £20 discount
This is the most valuable reward in real cash terms. Remember it expires 7 days from issue so plan your shop carefully.
