McDonald's Happy Meal deal: How to get £2.99 offer with Crocs toys this summer holidays

Maccys is always a crowd please for kids during the summer holidays when parents need all the help they can get to keep children happy.

As an added plus, families can currently bag a McDonald's Happy Meal for £2.99 until September when you buy through the app.

Prices depend on location, but without the deal the meal usually costs between £3.99 and £4.89.

It comes as the chain launches Crocs-themed toys as part of the meal.

The limited-edition Crocs Happy Meal are available from today 4 August and will include one of 12 Crocs mini character clip keyrings, each packaged inside its own miniature Crocs shoe box.

How to get a £2.99 McDonald's Happy Meal

McDonald's is offering Happy Meals for £2.99 when customers order through the McDonald's app.

The discounted price is available throughout the summer holidays, help parents feed kids for less while they are off school.

You'll need to download the McDonalds UK app to access the deal and then manually add the offer.

There is a maximum of one use a day, and a maximum of four uses until 1 September.

If you regularly visit McDonalds it's worth joining the Rewards scheme through the app as you'll earn points on spending which unlock free rewards.

What's included in the Crocs Happy Meal?

From 4 August, every Happy Meal comes with one of 12 collectible Crocs mini character clip keyrings.

Each toy arrives inside a miniature Crocs shoe box and can be clipped onto bags, keys or other accessories.

Families who would rather choose a book instead of a toy can opt for Gigantic by children's author Rob Biddulph, giving younger readers something to enjoy after their meal.

Along with a book or toy, a Happy Meal features a choice of Cheeseburger, Hamburger, McFish, Mayo Chicken with a small, or four Chicken McNuggets with a small fries, fruit or vegetable bag side.

You'll also get a small cold drink options including bottled water or milk.

It is served from 11am, prices can vary slightly by each restaurant. 

Throughout the promotion, Happy Meals will also include activity packs with games and puzzles.

And you can also visit HappyMeal.com to play an interactive 'Style your Crocs' game, where kids can design their own colourful Crocs creations online.

After visiting McDonald's, check your receipt to see if you've been invited to take part in the Food for Thoughts customer survey.

Customers who receive an invitation can complete a short online questionnaire about their experience.

As a thank you, you'll often receive a validation code that can be exchanged for a reward with your next purchase.
