When the half term rolls around, it can be daunting to figure how to keep the kids entertained for a whole week. It can be even more daunting when you think about how much it might cost you.

But there are ways you can have fun with the kids and not break the bank this week. That’s why we’ve put together some of the best half term deals we can find. From cinema trips, big days out and delicious meals, we’ve got you covered. All prices and offers correct at time of writing – 22/02/2022.

Days out

📽️ Cinema - Take the kids out to the cinema for less this half term, by choosing from any of the following money saving offers:

1. Cineworld are offering a price per showing of £2.50 for both adults and children when you book tickets online as part of the Movies for Juniors screenings. These take place at the weekend and during the school holidays.

2. Vue, as part of its Mini Mornings offer, has £2.49 tickets for both adults and children (aged 2-12) for screenings of children’s films at the weekends and during the school holidays.

🎢 Tesco Clubcard Days Out - If you shop at Tesco and collect points on your Clubcard, this half term you could convert your vouchers to Clubcard Days Out and receive three or four times’ the value on your points. The more clubcard points you have, the more money you get off on days out at Drayton Manor, Legoland and hundreds more attractions.

🚉 2for1 National Rail Ticket - National Rail are offering a 2for1 promotion on days out in London. To receive the offer you have to buy a national rail ticket and register with Days Out Guide. To be eligible for the offer you need to print off the voucher from Days Out Guide and have a valid rail ticket. You’ll also need to choose the closest station to the attraction as a final destination and your rail ticket has to be bought from National Rail on the same day as you want to visit an attraction. With this offer you can get 2for1 entry into ZSL London Zoo, Sea Life London Aquarium and Chessington World of Adventures.

🐒 Knowsley Safari Park - If you live in or near the North West area, then a trip to the Safari Park is always a treat. If you've got any kids under the age of 3, then they go free all year round. Plus, if you book online, you can save up to £20.50 (depending on family size) on a family ticket. Check it out here.

Eating out

Eating out with the kids can at times be stressful and expensive. But it doesn't have to be, because we've found some awesome deals you can take advantage of this half term:

🍕 Bella Italia - Kids eat for just £1 when you purchase any adult meal! This offer is available from 12pm Monday to Sunday, not including Saturday, and ends on 27th February 2022. All you need to do is get the offer code here.

🍔 Hungry Horse - Treat your little one to a free breakfast this half term thanks to Hungry Horse. Running from 8am to noon, your child can eat for free as long as they're accompanied by a paying adult.

🍲 Farmhouse Inns - Another mega deal here, where children can eat for just £1. Kids can choose a small breakfast, a kids meal or a junior carvery. Get your hands on this offer until 25th February. Find a Farmhouse Inn near you.

🥪 Marks and Spencer - Kids eat free when you spend £5 or more in M&S Cafe. You can grab some great kids meal deals that include a sandwich, toastie, pizza or pasta, a snack or fruit, and a drink. The offer is running until 25th February.

🥐 Cafe Rouge - Kids can eat for £1 when they're with a paying adult. Choose from the Petit Menu for ages two to six or the Grand Menu for ages seven to twelve. Offer runs until the end of half term.
