Keeping kids well fed and entertained over the summer holidays is no easy feat for parents.

Many chains launch kids eat free deals over the break to help families cut the cost of eating out.

However, there is usually a catch - parents usually have to buy a full meal or spend a certain amount to get the offer.

That's what makes Morrisons free breakfast offer one of the best deals out there.

Families visiting the supermarket's cafés throughout the summer holidays can enjoy a free Kellogg’s Breakfast, which includes a bowl of cereal and a portion of fruit.

The best part? There's no purchase needed, it's completely free.

Here's how that stacks up against over supermarket and restaurant kids eat free deals over the holidays.

How to get Morrisons free breakfast over the summer holidays

From now until 6 September, just say ‘Kellogg’s Breakfast’ at the till point at any UK Morrisons Café to receive the free feed.

You can choose from a pack of Cornflakes or Rice Krispies with milk or milk alternative. And you'll get a piece of fruit.

Even better, it’s not just for kids, adults get to eat completely free too. 

The offer runs every day though there is a limit of one breakfast per customer per day.

You don't need a More card to get the Morrisons free breakfast.

Does Morrisons do Kids Eat Free in the summer holidays?

Aside from the Kellogg's free breakfast, Morrisons also runs a Kids Eat Free offer will also continue to run in all of its cafés.

Under this offer, families can get a free meal and drink for one child aged 16 or under when they buy an adult main meal costing £5 or more from The Breakfasts and The Classics menu.

It's not a bad deal if you're already shopping in Morrisons but you can also get kids meals for free by spending less in rival supermarkets including Asda and Tesco.

Which supermarket has the best Kids Eat Free deal?

If you're looking to get a free child meal while spending as little as possible, your best bet is to head to Tesco.

The supermarket offers a free kids meal with any full-price adult purchase - but this can be something as small as an apple costing just 65p.

And for the first time, the scheme is running at weekends. Previously it had only been available on weekdays.

The promo is running from now until 1 September and you'll need to swipe a Clubcard to get the deal.

For the free meal, you can choose from kid's breakfast options including egg and soldiers, and pancakes. Or hot meal choices include fish fingers, chicken strips and pork sausages.

The Kids Pick ‘n’ Mix is another option and includes a sandwich, a drink, two snacks and a piece of fresh fruit.

Asda is another great option for parents, offering a straightforward kid's menu with each dish priced at £1 This saves the faffing that can come with trying to meet the minimum spend that comes with a lot of kids eat free deals.

You can choose from the likes of penne pasta with meatballs, fish fingers, chicken nuggets and the all day breakfast.
