What to do if your Winter Fuel Payment hasn’t arrived

If you were expecting a Winter Fuel Payment this winter and it hasn’t landed, not to worry - there's still time to check what's going on.
If you think you're payment's been missed, get in touch with the Winter Fuel Payment Centre by 28th January.
Does this deadline apply to you?
The 28th January deadline applies if:
- You were expecting a payment this winter and it hasn’t shown up in your bank account
If you’re a first-time claimer,there’s a bit more time to claim your payment - you've got until 31st March.
What to have ready before you get in touch
If you do need to contact the Winter Fuel Payment Centre, having a few details to hand can make things easier (and avoid scrambling around mid-call):
- Your National Insurance number
- Your bank or building society details
- The date you were married or entered a civil partnership (if this applies to you)
