Why does money sometimes get transferred back from my card into my account?

When you set up your budgeting with us, you tell us how much you expect each bill to be. We then hold that amount back in your account to cover that bill, and transfer the rest to your card.

But in some cases the bill may turn out to be higher than expected. If possible, we will still pay the bill for you, but we may need to transfer some money back from your card to make up the difference. 

Similarly, if the bill turns out to be less than expected we will transfer the difference to your card.
