I’ve received an email from you, but I’m not sure it’s real?

To check if an email we send you is real, look out for the following signs.

  • At the top we will always quote your account number with the last four digits starred out – e.g. 1234****.
  • We’ll also always address you by your first name.
  • We will never ask for your PIN or Passcode.

If in doubt

If you’re in doubt, don’t open the email, don’t click on links and don’t use any contact details in the email. This is because links can install malware or direct you to a spoof site to collect your details, whilst contact details can be fake and put you in touch with the fraudster.

Always visit websites independently or use the contact details on your statement or card.
